Chemical ecology and sustainable development
Welcome to the 43rd Annual Meeting of the International Society of Chemical Ecology. The meeting will be held from 24 to 28 July 2028 at the Protea Hotel Technopark in Stellenbosch, South Africa.
In keeping with the interdisciplinary nature of the field and its potential to contribute to sustainable development, the conference will emphasise how chemical ecology can both inform our understanding of the natural world and lead to practical applications.
Talks will cover the chemistry, biochemistry and function of natural products, their importance at all levels of ecological organisation in diverse taxa, and their evolutionary origins.
